[ It's been a few hours since our dead announcement and Eupha's in the mansion common area, looking at her phone. ]

It seems there is still no word from the angels... I suppose we will need to wait for tomorrow to learn anything more.

... I'm not quite sure what to do with myself in the meantime.

[ depressing. ]

I just keep wondering what happened.

Week 1, Monday

[ Eupha can be found looking around the village in the evening, when the skeletons are all set out! She stares at a skeleton snake... ]

How strange. What creature could leave remains like this...?

[ follows her gaze, vaguely disturbed. ]

I'm not sure I want to know. It's creepy.

week 2, monday

[ throws them down the olive garden's path! he's looking around in wonder as he heads toward the greenhouse. ]

It's like something out of one of Iris's sketchbooks. You ever seen anything like this?

[ actual gardens? it's wild. ]

Hey, it looks like they have flowers further down, too.

Nothing quite like it, but it does make me miss the verdant flora of home. [ smiling. ] Oh, but you mentioned living in a tower, did you not? I suppose there's only so much greenery you would see there.

[ i am too tired for starters so i'm just throwing them right into it. no content warnings, sometimes you just have a nice little talk. ]

Week 3, Friday

[ happy death day... eupha can be seen sitting in the mansion lobby. she sits very quietly, staring down at her phone in her hands.

she seems a bit out of it, as she doesn't react when laurence is nearby. ]

[ girl, same. his eyes are red and maybe a little puffy when he gets there, but he pauses when he sees eupha looking just as dazed. with a soft sigh, he goes to sit next to her. ]

Eupha...?

week 4, monday

[ hello! he'll be in the armory on this lovely monday, cautiously giving a candy cane sword a test swing. ]

[ eupha peeks inside the room... and he might get to perceive her emotional state before he gets to see her. well, maybe? it seems her prevailing emotion is merely a sense of calmness, along with curiosity.

after a few moments, she lets herself inside. ]

There are weapons here?

Week 4, Friday

[ eupha can be found in the tavern, cleaning up the dining area after the entire gd game ended up staying here last night.

she is generally calm and focused, but occasionally her attention drifts to the bar, and a feeling of sadness rises to the surface.

but then she sees laurence, and she offers him a faint smile, meant to be encouraging. ]

[ he can help clean up. there were so many of us here we probably need the help.

he doesn't return the smile. ]

You know you don't have to try and smile if you're upset, Eupha.

week 5, monday

[outdistanced]

[ where is eupha. laurence is coming up to her this afternoon with penny held out as far from his body as possible. a little snek is wrapped around her! ]

[ he doesn’t know much about snakes but he recognizes them from her stickers. ]

[ her eyes light up! ]

[ voids them for now he is. not happy and he's clearly been crying but he's also just looped around into being mad now. ]

Maybe we should've expected an escalation after those messages they got last week.

[ yeah...... eupha is normally the picture of calmness, but even she looks a little worn down at this. ]

You mean that even more people were influenced?

I... wonder if there is any way to tell, if someone truly acted of their own volition.

Week 5, Sunday

Hello Laurence. Wis'adel and I each received a strange voicemail today. Did you get one as well?

I did. I meant to ask you guys about it, too.

Week 6, Monday

[ eupha can be found checking out the academy! she's being nosy and looking through some notes she found in a student's desk. ]

... I wonder what they were studying here... Some kind of magic?

[ she's holding a diagram, moving the paper closer and farther from her face as if hoping she will decipher it this way. she does not. ]

It does say it's a school of magic.

[ peers at the diagram over her shoulder, thoughts all ???? ]

I have no idea what this means.
