... I wonder what they were studying here... Some kind of magic?

[ she's holding a diagram, moving the paper closer and farther from her face as if hoping she will decipher it this way. she does not. ]

It does say it's a school of magic.

I have no idea what this means.

If we try to follow the instructions, perhaps we can perform some magic ourselves.

If it's magic, maybe there could be something to help the lost souls? Or at least talk to them easier...

I once had the power to summon allies to my side. If we could summon our friends here, it may solve many of our problems.

It is nothing so impressive as teleportation, I'm sure. In fact... I suppose summoning is a sort of teleportation, but more limited?

Well, yeah, kind of - but in reverse? Supposedly I could teleport to someone, but I can't just make someone come to me like that. It's still cool.
