Well, they're for spying, so... Theoretically they could be used to see something someone wouldn't normally say or do with you. But that's why I didn't want them - it felt weird.
Seeing the lost souls is definitely better reassurance they're doing okay.

The only good use I could think of for it would be like... if we missed someone afflicted, you know? But even then, you'd have to get real lucky to get that kind of information out of it.
