It's against the rules. We're supposed to be living like normal people, and besides that, some demiflora powers can be dangerous if they're just allowed to do whatever they want. So it's not allowed.
Not really...? I was curious about it when I was a kid, but - it's like someone who could go for a jog every day, but just chooses not to. Same principle.
Depends... I don't know if we have, like, a hard limit, but we can definitely go pretty far if we work at it long enough. We just need to know the coordinates of the place we're going, mostly. I'm still learning, but I can at least go between cities.
I have encountered teleportation magic before, and I was awed at the experience. To see another city and return within the day is a dream come true. Much safer than the sea or the roads, too.
