So you're used to this kind of thing? Why're they so loud?

Fireworks need a certain blend of chemicals in order to make the patterns in the sky, and a container in the right shape in order to launch upwards. When the fuse on the container is lit, the powder is ignited, since the containers are usually pretty small, the reaction in a small space causes the noise.

Okay. I didn't realize small containers could make something so big. [ THEY LOOK HUGE. ] We don't have fireworks at home.

I guess not... It's just weird having them there.

I'm glad they don't hurt. I wonder how long it'll stay like this.

Maybe for the week? If it's like that... holding hands thing. But I don't understand why that was going on in the first place.

It helps me manage my illness. Not that it works right now.

Wait, you're sick? And you can't even-- Hold on, that's not right. They have to have some kind of meds for you here, right? Or... are you better now, because we already died?

It's not contagious.

When I talked to the angels about it, they said my condition was slowed down while we're here? So it shouldn't affect me for the time being.
