[ i just had to look up his follower bond to remember what kind of dish this actually was help all i remembered was bird monster. anyway he straight up calls it kokasados chicken there so i guess it IS like chicken. ]

Well, the monster itself is poisonous, naturally. Salt curing before cooking gets that all out of the meat though, so it's safe.
