he shrugs? ] As well as anyone could be, I guess. Just... hoping tomorrow goes a little better than last week.

[ that first part gets a little bit of a smile, even if it's short-lived. ]

...Yeah. Seems like there's a good chance we've got two afflicted killers this week, if the one from last week did it again.

So maybe by tomorrow it'll be okay.

...That's what I'm worried about, yeah. It was bad enough that Dojima went for an apple, but that'd be even worse.

[ ...there are some quietly sad feelings thinking about dojima last week, and now tying into the news about majima today.

Might actually be stuck in this two-a-week cycle the rest of the time we're here, unless one of 'em ends up a victim or we manage to tie a vote.

A tie sounds impossible. [ shakes in sprace ] If we can at least find them both, there might be a chance to stop them from attacking someone else. But we didn't even get that far last week.

The upside is we had it narrowed down to a pretty small pool of likely candidates already last week, so we've probably got a pretty good chance of finding that one, especially once we've got new evidence to cross-reference.

[ well there is a little curl of unease because he was on that list! even if he doesn't think he was a solid suspect for anyone. ]

Yeah... It sounded like they'd have a harder time controlling themselves, so maybe that'll help point us in the right direction, too.

[ though he is a little scared of what that could mean given. what happened with zhongli. fried dragon. ]

God. We had Gabriel put an automatic lock on our kitchen at the tavern for exactly that reason. Hopin' both bodies bein' found in the Candy Kingdom means everything happened over there.

[ they always called it their diner when they talked about it before and then zhongli happened and they felt like they had to rebrand...... ]

Ugh. Id hate if you guys finally got this place and someone just ruined it like that.

Yeah, us too. [ he was annoyed enough about the eggs already. ] If it turns out someone pulled somethin' like that, I'll volunteer to execute 'em myself.
