[JOKES. Sweet refuge. Though he frowns at the vines, making a gesture at the tug.]

No way you can make those ease up? It looks uncomfortable. [Then, a touch quieter.] I'll be all right. I know it looks bad, but the gang patched me up pretty good. I'll just take 'er easy a while. Get used to half a set of digits.

laurence reaches for the vines around his neck, trying to tug them a little looser but they don't budge much. ] I... don't really control them.

We need a real infirmary if we can all get hurt like this. The stuff at the store doesn't really cut it. [ band-aids? for a missing arm? at least laurence does look a little reassured that richie is acknowledging it, and not pretending he's perfectly fine. at least the others have done their job taking care of him. ] If... you need painkillers or something.
