when chrono keeps going, it just sort of. stops him short. he stares at chrono and has to tell his heart several times to calm down. try several more times to speak before he can find his voice. when he does, it sounds faint to his own ears. ]

Man, is it that strange? Like I said, it's peaceful, so carrying weaponry is generally illegal. Could probably get some kind of license for it, but given they'd be workin' on new identities, it would be hard.

I don't know. We never needed weapons in the Tower, but I don't know what the laws are about it outside. I figure if things like the Moon Mercenaries exist, they have to have weapons of some kind.
