What do you think they mean by "order of operations" for something like this?

Most like a contingency.

[though, mizu doesn't sound sure about that.]

It's curious, though. They didn't know we could die, but they still had a plan for it.

I never thought heaven would need something like that at all. They probably didn't, either. So maybe the plan is just something that God came up with?

week 1, thursday

[ he's a little hesitant to approach mizu, actually, because he knows mizu isn't much of a talker and probably won't want to be bothered after whatever the heck just happened. ]

What happened to you guys? I thought this place was supposed to be safe aside from... last week. There's some other kind of danger out there?

[it's fine... mizu is just chilling, now that some medical attention has been provided.]

I don't know. [slowly, clearly a bit frustrated.] When I woke up this morning, it was as though I was in another world. Living another life. Our memories were altered to match.

week 2, monday

[ sets this after your grand return he's just looking between mizu and the hole cut in the maze wall. ]

What did you guys even run into in there?

[the hole has since schlurped itself up, like magic.]

A flying reptile. A big one. It was very aggressive.

What, like a dragon? Why would they have something like that here?

week two, saturday.

[mizu can be found at the beach, feet bare and standing close enough to the shore to be caught by the water as the tide ebbs and flows.

laurence will get a cursory glance. an acknowledgement, but nothing more. hello.]

[ huh. mizu looks almost peaceful, like this. it's a little surprising. he's still wearing shoes, so he doesn't step up to their side, but he'll just look out over the water, thoughtful. ]

...This place isn't so bad when it's left alone.

[ even though the night itself still sucks. ]

Yes. It's quite peaceful when no one is using it to bury a body, or hide a sword.

week three, monday.

[wowie! imagine being powerful enough to write an actual starter during memshare week. anyway, they are both stuck in the funhouse for the long haul while one of mizu's memories plays over the mirrors.

mizu does not seem to be too terribly bothered over this memory. there's more exasperation than anything, honestly.]

mizu is looking over a phone that is now little bit cracked on the upper left corner. this is fine. the vibes are... annoyed. with a slight undercurrent of angry.]

All that, and you just came out of it with a cracked phone? That's kind of impressive.

The skeletons didn't pose much of a challenge.
