Not her body, but I think they took that. But I couldn't find anything else either, like steps, a reason why she came out all the way here.

How does anyone just get used to something like this?

I never joined any of them but it wasn't unusual to hear that someone had died suddenly.

But it's different, this time.

Because we're already dead? And... because Charlie was so nice? She kept trying to take care of everyone.

She just wanted to help us. Makes me wonder what happened... she never struck me as the reckless type, just maybe a little nosy.

I don't think it would be strange that she tried to solve the problem herself. She likes to try to fix things for other people's sake.

...Yeah, that sounds right. But we haven't had any problems that bad. Someone dying is a huge step up from property destruction.

I've heard about things like sharks...? But that doesn't sound right.

If it was like that then they would've probably warned us to stay away from the sea.

Would they have known if it was? It sounds like they're learning about everything at the same pace as the rest of us.

I just don't know what else there could be. Nothing about this place has been that bad. Weird, but not bad.

They know more than we do. They told me there is more out there, that we are kept in an less populated area. They must have looked into this place before opening it up to us.

Maybe, but there's still a lot they don't know, too. They didn't know anyone could... die in this place. Maybe they didn't think we could get hurt at all.

Whatever it is... I never ran into anything that looked that dangerous at all.

... We're solid. And we can feel pain. I can bruise.

It's not that hard to imagine I could die too, if something like that happened. I feel alive.

She never looked like she wasn't alert, either. Just... optimistic.
